As you’d expect at such a large chain, there are jobs to suit everyone. You could work in hospitality to deal with customers and satisfy their needs. You could also opt for a job at corporate working in departments like finance and marketing to name just a few. There are management positions available at various locations too. Basically, at Marriott International you’ll most definitely find a job to suit your skill set and job potential.

Marriott International has a very strict no drug policy, the enforcement of which is taken very seriously. You would expect no less at such a prestigious hotel chain as Marriot International. Complaints from a customer that someone working at Marriott was under the influence at work would be completely unacceptable. The company has a reputation to uphold after all. So you can expect to be screened at any time for drugs.

As stated earlier, Marriott International uses mouth swabs to test the individual’s saliva for drugs. This is the easiest of the various test methods to pass, especially if you are aware of the test in advance.
Can You Fail a Drug Test if You Are on Prescription Drugs?
There’s no way for you to fail a drug test if you’re only on prescription drugs. In order to avoid any mix up, you should inform your employer that you’re on prescription meds before they take the oral swab to test your saliva for drugs.
You can also give Marriott International the contact details of your physician so they can call him/her to confirm that you’re in fact on a prescription. They’re not allowed to ask what you’re taking or why you’re taking the prescription though. That information is protected by doctor/patient confidentiality.
How to Pass a Drug Test at Marriott Hotel?
As I mentioned above, the saliva drug test is the easiest of the test to pass. You should abstain from using marijuana in any form (i.e. smoking, vaping, eating edibles, drinking, etc.), for at least 48 hours in advance of your test. In addition, you should brush your teeth and gums properly and use a strong mouthwash like Listerine just before the test.
If you are caught by surprise, or cannot stop using marijuana for at least 48 hours, you might consider to have a specially designed mouth detox product handy.
