What kind of Drug Test Does Kellogg Use?
Kellogg’s uses a urine drug test to screen applicants and test existing employees. You will submit a urine sample in a cup. The sample will be analyzed in a lab. Results usually come back the same day or a day later.
Can You Fail Your Drug Test for Using Prescription Drugs?
You can’t fail a drug test if you’re on prescription drugs. Yes, your urine will show up positive because you’re on drugs that show up on urine screens, but they shouldn’t be allowed to reject you for it. Just let your interviewer or the manager know that you’re on a prescription for drugs that can show up as positive on a urine drug screen.
Additionally, you can give them your doctor’s name and contact info in case they need to contact her or him to confirm. Neither you nor your doctor should disclose what drugs you’re on or why you’re taking them. At Kellogg, this isn’t even something you need to worry about too much. They don’t drug test and are very unlikely to ask you for any of this.
How to Pass Drug Test at Kellogg?
If you would like to avoid stress and increase your odds of getting a job at Kellogg, you should consider abstaining for at least 3 months especially if you are a heavy user. If you don’t use marijuana much, you might need up to 10-12 days in order to become clean.
Don’t take such detox drinks if you are a regular user though as they are not effective enough for high levels of THC. Usually heavy users are able to achieve their goals by either completing at least a 10 day whole body detox program or if their urine drug test is not supervised, I have seen that some heavy users have resorted to using synthetic urine as their backup plan.
Kellogg is a great place to work and is one of the biggest food companies in the world. Unfortunately for recreational drug users, they ask job applicants for a urine drug test before hiring them. This should make getting a job more complicated. Try to avoid drugs at least for a couple of months before your interview and potential drug test. It’s also recommended to avoid drugs after getting a job there since they can test you at any time.
